Cavities, Fillings & Crowns

Keep Your Child's Smile Healthy

A few healthy habits can go a long way in protecting your child's smile:

·Limit snacks between meals
·Encourage daily brushing and flossing
·Choose water over sugary drinks
·Avoid sticky foods that cling to teeth
·Serve treats with meals instead of as snacks
·Offer healthy, nutritious snacks

Fillings & Crowns

If your child develops a cavity, we'll recommend the treatment that's best for their tooth. Small cavities can often be repaired with tooth-colored fillings, while teeth with more extensive decay may need a stainless steel crown for added protection.

For children who feel anxious, we also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help them stay relaxed during treatment. Before we begin, our doctors will explain all treatment options and help you choose the best solution for your child's smile.
